Black Money Builder is a Black-Owned crowdfunding website, made for us, by us. Founder and CEO, Justin Shaw together with his wife Khanya, were Black Money Builders themselves when Shaw was diagnosed with cancer in 2019. It was through crowdfunding, that their family was able to afford all of their medical bills for Shaw to undergo chemotherapy. With the financial help and support from the community, Shaw beat cancer and is a cancer survivor, in every sense of the word: by how you live, why you live, and the manner in which you live. It was this mentality that Shaw brought Black Money Builder to life. Black Money Builder is one of the first crowdfunding websites that has the power to motivate, educate and further advance the Black community by donating back.

Black Money Builder is a crowdfunding platform that gives back to Black communities in need. 8.46% to be exact, of Black Money Builder’s annual revenue is donated back: a number and powerful symbol that represents the police brutality inflicted on George Floyd, a name never to be forgotten. In the midst of chaos, violence, and racial profiling, Black Money Builder has created a black-owned platform, with one ultimate goal in mind: for people to work together in helping others.

Anyone and everyone are welcome to donate and create crowdfunding campaigns on the Black Money Builder platform. Although we are Black-Owned and encourage donors to find help from their own communities, Black Money Builder is built to support all people.
